About

Assistive tech manufacturers love paywalls, dealer- resp. manufacturer-only maintenance tools, scarce technical documentation, proprietary protocols, and so on, and so forth.

We document them anyway. Because why use standard encodings when you can roll your own, right?

Protocol specs, software tools, and research. Currently covering the Alber e-motion M25 wheelchair drive. More reverse engineering is underway.

The docs and code are free and open source, and always will be.

The official consumer apps don’t let you read raw sensor data, configure every parameter that’s configurable or do anything fun. We fixed that.

Also: if an app gets discontinued, your wheelchair shouldn’t become a paperweight.

Right-to-repair. Security research. The code is free.

Use it responsibly and be aware that you might void the warranty.

Improvements and PRs are welcome. Got a device that needs documenting? Open an issue and we might look into it.
